Tea with Ezra (Boneset Books, 2013) is a short collection of poems that respond to familiar texts (fairy tales, biblical narratives, poems) and familiar writers (Flannery O’Connor, Joni Mitchell, Ray Bradbury, Ezra Pound). These poems are some of my favorite to read aloud to an audience, and they are best paired with a large mug of Lady Grey.
This is a half-letter (4.25″x5.5″) chapbook with a sewn binding, limited run of 25 (sold out in pre-order).
Here is the title poem, which was first published in The Southwestern Review.
